Shipping & Returns Policy

We ship Australia wide.  Your order will be delivered via Australia Post at a flat rate of $15 per order up to 5 kgs.  Please contact the store to discuss combined shipping orders for multiple orders. 

By purchasing an item, you agree to the following:

  • Please note: No returns on sale items, jewellery/ accessories, these purchases are FINAL.

      .  NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGE FOR CHANGE OF MIND

Please note we only exchange items for incorrect sizing within 14 days of receiving. Return postage is at the customers expense. 

If a change of size is not able to be offered a STORE CREDIT will be issued. 

  • Proof of purchase (tax invoice) is required
  • The item(s) are in their original condition, with all labels and tags still attached
  • The item(s) are unworn, unwashed, not used, not altered, soiled or damaged, including scissor cuts, and in original condition
  • The items(s) do not smell of perfume/deodorant so please take due care when trying on your order.    

Orders will be shipped within 24 -48 hours of receipt of payment, unless your order is placed on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday, in which case an additional 24 hours may be required to pack & ship your order. Please allow up to 7 working days delivery time.

We have an inventory of our products and endeavor to keep our stock levels up to date. If, for some reason, an item is not in stock or unavailable you will be notified and given the option to back order, change or cancel the item.

All our products are shipped from Salisbury Downs, South Australia. 

If the item is deemed faulty, we will refund, exchange or repair as required by law if communication has been made within 7 days of receipt.  A receipt is required. No refunds will be issued for change of mind.  All sales deemed to be a special order are considered final.

The customer is responsible for any costs incurred for returns for any reason. 

Management reserves the right to make any final decision regarding the return or refund of any items. 

Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at classicgifts@optusnet.com.au.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at carolsclassicgifts@bigpond.com and send your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
